Remember these simple tips to do away with leg cramps....
1) Drink water at regular intervals through the day. Dehydration is a major cause of strained ankles, calves and hamstrings.
2) Potassium and/or calcium deficiency can cause weakness in joints and bones. Make milk (rich in calcium) and banana (loaded with potassium) your breakfast staples.
3) Don't go for longs walks or spend hours on the treadmill just because you see someone doing it or read about it in magazines. Exercise only to your capacity and increase gradually.
4) Don't spend long hours sitting or standing. Change your posture at regular intervals to avoid muscle stiffness.
5) Avoid sitting in a position that bends your knees at awkward angles...
6) Warm up very well before doing any leg exercises whatsoever.
7) Wear comfortable shoes, which are suitable for exercising.
8) Massage your feet regularly.

If you want a taut and firm body, the best bet is to sweat it out in the gym or practise yoga! Plan an exercise schedule, keeping in mind your flexibility, stamina and muscle strength. "Indulge in a tough cardio workout and anti-gravity resistance exercises, followed by stretching," says a reputed wellness and fitness expert. To tighten muscles, just lift any body part and hold it in that position for some time. This tones your abs, thighs and legs. If you agree with herbal expert, she says that gyms are not hygienic and can lead to an array of infections, your best bet would be to practise yoga at home. If you are joining a gym any way, make sure it is salubrious!
